Tired of buying kale, other greens and vegetables go bad after a day or so? Berries are frustrating enough.

Vegetables need to breathe. This does not mean that they should go completely out of the bag or crisper in the fridge, especially if you have uncovered fruit in the there, too. Why? Many fruits produce an ethylene gas, which can hasten ripening and, ultimately, spoilage.
