Shopping with the seasons can help you save money on produce while staying healthy. Eating locally grown produce may even provide you with the most nutrients. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists recommend eating 5 -7 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. Keep in mind that some fruits are high in sugar, so watch the portion size carefully.
