Europe vs. Genetically Modified (GM) Crops
Have you heard about genetically modified (GM) crops? Numerous countries in Europe are banning them. What’s the deal with GM crops in Europe and why are they no longer welcome in certain countries?

The operative term here is genetically engineered. It’s going against nature’s laws. Why alter crops, anyway? Genetic engineering is a more precise and faster way to breed crops to attain certain desirable traits, more like one generation instead of 20 generations. GM crops claim to offer enhanced nutritional value, improved yields, longer shelf life, and resistance to pests, frost, and/or drought.
