Facts and Myths about BPA Everyone Should Know
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical commonly found in plastics and coatings. And recent research shows that this chemical poses serious health risks to human beings. But there is still a lot of misinformation about BPA. So I’ve come up with a few myths and facts to help clear the air.
Myth: Canned foods have less BPA than water bottles and baby bottles.
Fact: Tests show that canned foods have higher BPA amounts than water bottles. Note that BPA levels in water bottles increases when they’re heated.
