Healthy Hot Cocoa with a Kick

Toss the Swiss Miss and try this delicious and simple recipe for a pot of clean, no sugar added, hot chocolate. Yum!

1 ½ cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

3 Medjool dates, pitted and softened (room temp)

2 T. cacao or unsweetened cocoa

½ tsp. cinnamon

Pinch cayenne pepper

Pinch of sea salt

Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Heat on stove and serve warm. You can top with whipped coconut cream or regular whipped cream.
