The Importance of Mental Fitness

Much is made of the essential nature of physical fitness today. We routinely hear the axioms about the importance of regular exercise. We hear about the obesity crisis gripping the world. Our GPs tell us to get more fresh air and exercise. There are hundreds of different kinds of exercise to engage in, too. Something for everyone these days. Little, though, is said about the equal importance of mental fitness. If the goal is to be truly well in society today, mental fitness is just important as physical fitness.
