In the early 1950’s on the island Koshima just off the coast of Japan scientists took part in an experiment to help shed light on how intelligence is comprehended and spread. The experiment was conducted on a specific type of monkey, the Macaca Fuscata monkey, which only inhabited the island of Koshima. The isolation of this breed of monkey was extremely important as to ascertain specific results from the experiment.
