Few Measures to Prevent Sports Injury

Accident and Emergency departments in hospitals in the UK have seen a rise in sports injuries in recent years. The most frequent types of injuries are sprained ligaments, strained muscles and stress fractures to bones. While many injuries are attributed to overuse, there are several other reasons why these injuries happen, and many of them are preventable.

Due to the unpredictable nature of sports activities, it is not possible to prevent all injuries from occurring, but it is possible to take the necessary steps to decrease the likelihood of them.
